Is there a recommendation regarding character level for the 5E version? I was thinking about running this for 4-5 characters of level 2, but I'm really not great at assessing stuff like that, and I couldn't find any definitive recommendation in the adventure (the dinoganger stats seem to assume level 3 SCs?)
We fought a T-Rex headed dentist, dodged intestines, my character drank a tea that made her Scottish accent impossible to understand. You know, the usual. :)

It's aimed at levels 2-3, so that ballpark will work
Played this game with our psychic, post apocalyptic characters. We didn't notice a difference. :)
